Duffie June Carr, 93, Union City, formerly of Jonesboro, died Feb. 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, James F. Carr, and 12 brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with interment at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include a son, Tommie and Theresa Carr, Senoia; daughters, Sherri J. Wehner, LaGrange, Connie D. and Charles Sanders, Moreland, Patti D. Adams, Newnan, and Terri L. and Phil Shampine, Corning, N. Y.; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
