Newnan Kiwanis enjoy music of Rutledge Singers

On Tuesday, March 4, the Rutledge Singers performed for the Newnan Kiwanis. The group received a standing ovation after singing a variety of inspirational songs including “In the Highways” and “When the Fire Came Down.”

The Rutledge Singers is a group of exceptionally spirited singers connected with the Rutledge Center, a non-profit organization in Newnan that provides family-centered services to improve the quality of life and develop self-sufficiency for intellectually disabled children and adults.

The Newnan Kiwanis Club meets every Tuesday for lunch, from 12-1 p.m., at the Special Events Center, 299 Bullsboro Drive in Newnan. Community members are welcome; please call Bob Lech at 770-463-9424 for details.
