PTC First Baptist to host Global Impact Celebration
First Baptist Church, Peachtree City, will host its first Global Impact Celebration March 5-9. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, and concluding Sunday, March 9, the church will welcome special guests and missionaries from across the country and around the world as guest speakers for the event. McElveen benefit walk is this Saturday
Living Proof Church, 414 Jenkins Road in Tyrone, next to Sandy Creek High School, in conjunction with the American Cancer Society, will sponsor a benefit walk for Jessica McElveen this Saturday, March 8. Registration for the walk will begin at 9 a.m. and the walk will begin at 10 a.m. Registration forms and pledge sheets may be picked up from Living Proof Church or Flat Rock Middle School on Jenkins Road. Awards will be given to the top three participants who receive the most pledges and T-shirts will be awarded to the top 10 participants with the most pledges.

Men’s encounter meets March 8
Men’s Encounter, a non-denominational study for men led by Minister Jesse Asmond, will meet Saturday, March 8, at 8 a.m. at the Hampton Inn in Fayetteville. This month’s teaching will be on “Fathers Bestowing Blessings on Their Sons.” Sons age eight and older also are welcome. The Hampton Inn is at 110 Meeting Place Dr. in Fayetteville, just off Ga. Hwy. 54, approximately one half mile west of the courthouse.

PTC Presbyterian plans Strength Training event
First Presbyterian Church is the place to be Friday, March 14 at 7 p.m. at to learn more about Strength Training. Certified nutritionist and dance instructor Patricia Woody will provide nutritional information. Karate expert Kevin Brown and Dr. Matt Davis will demonstrate strength training exercises. Legacy Ministries opens Equipping Center
Legacy Ministries’ interdenominational Equipping Center in Peachtree City offers a place for training, healing, Christian resources, prayer and worship. Events for March include Friday Freedom on March 21 and Tuesday Training on March 25, both free and both from 7-9 p.m. Donations are accepted. The center is at 1952 Hwy. 54 W., Suite 100 (2 blocks east of Publix in the Peachtree East Shopping Center).
