Putin and Dan Quail

I noticed that President Putin of Russia---not the Soviet Union, has selected his Dan Quail to succeed him, a young forty-ish stooge who will be President while Putin becomes Prime Minister.

I assume the new Prime Minister (Putin) will actually run the government, as does the English Prime Minister, while the new President will sign treaties!

They have no King or Queen currently or Czar, who would need to sign off as a formality.

Not that they wouldn't want one!

Of course we approve of this "new" democracy that the Russians have, just as we do Saudi Arabia, China, and dozens of other dictatorships.

Assuming of course that they have something we want!

Our foreign policy is somewhat askew!
