During the month of December, Carla’s Dance Factory (CDF) collected supplies at the studio for two of the students’ dad who are stationed in Iraq and Afganastan.

The company sent care boxes to each of them with items that they had requested including, coffee, nose sprays, lip balm, body wipes, toothpaste, deodorant, medicine and more.

An American flag was flown in Iraq over the Multi-National Corps-Iraq on Dec. 29 in honor of Carla's Dance Factory for their efforts during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Lt. Colonel Robert Bobinski sent an email to CDF owner Carla Gillespie Berry to thank her for the company’s efforts.

Upon receiving the flag and certificate to thank Carla’s Dance Company for the packages, Berry said, “When I received the flag and certificate yesterday, Iwas really surprised and honored.”
