Hellice J. Clark, 96, Mobile, Ala., formerly of Fayetteville and Atlanta, died Feb. 22, 2008. She was born Feb. 12, 1912 in Vilonia, Ark., one of 10 children. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Horace Clark, to whom she was married for 54 years. She attended Arkansas State Teacher's College and as a young woman worked for Arkansas Power Company. After moving to Atlanta she worked for CARE and later The Georgia Association of Federated Women's Clubs where she received many honors. She was loved and admired by those who knew her for her keen sense of humor, intellect and gracious personality. Graveside services were at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include a sister, Krystal Lee Burns, Little Rock, Ark. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
