Opal A. Harrison, 87, Fayetteville, died Feb. 20, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Beulah Ashmore, and her husband, Willard C. Harrison Jr. Graveside services were at Mount Zion United Methodist Church cemetery, Mount Zion, Ga. The Rev. Doug Altman and the Rev. Lance Snipes officiated. Survivors include sons, Willard C. and Marion Harrison III, Fayetteville, and Lester and Betty Lou Stokes, Marietta; daughters, Linda and John Wilhelm, Muskegon, Mich., Betty Lou and Anthony Collins, Knoxville, Tenn. and Donna Sue and Bill Fitch, Carrollton; 21 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother; and one sister. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
