Children in grades 1-5 will be introduced to basic science concepts in a new monthly program being offered by the Peachtree City Library.

The first “Super Science” program, Saturday, Jan. 14, will cover static electricity. Simple experiments will be performed to demonstrate static electricity. The class size is limited and reservations must be made by calling the library at 770-631-2520.

Those with younger kids may want to take advantage of storytime on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. for ages 3-5. Babytime, a program for the younger set, is offered three times on Thursdays: at 9:30 a.m. for toddlers 2-3 years old, at 10:30 a.m. for 1-2 year-olds and at 11:30 a.m. for infants up until the age they can walk.
