Are you looking for a New Year’s Resolution that can make a difference in your community? Become a volunteer at Fayette Senior Services. Give the gift that will last all year — the gift of time. Volunteer to help Fayette Senior Services meet the needs of our seniors in Fayette County. The greatest need is for volunteers to deliver Meals On Wheels. Which one of these volunteer opportunities works best for you? • Meals On Wheels. Deliver meals one day a week, one to two hours. Delivery starts around 11:15 a.m. • Volunteer drivers. Drive seniors to medical appointments. You pick your on-call day, morning or afternoon. Trips are 2-4 hours. • Frozen meal delivery. Deliver frozen meals one day per week. Openings on Thursdays and Fridays. Delivery starts around 10 a.m. • Friendship Center. Help in the Center with games, crafts, activities and lunch from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. one day per week.
