Senoia ballfields get lighting upgradeThu, 02/21/2008 - 3:29pm
By: Ben Nelms
Let there be light. That is the plan for two ball fields in Senoia after Coweta County Commission gave approval Feb. 5 to retain Atlanta-based Roberds Consulting Engineers to prepare bid documents for the lighting upgrade project. Funds had been budgeted for an upgrade of two ball fields to replace wood lighting poles and fixtures with pre-cast concrete poles and new lighting fixtures. Commissioners approved the expenditure of $1,300. Preparation of bid information includes preparing electrical descriptions of the scope of the work, needed revisions and any required meetings. Current hourly rates provided by Roberds included $135 per hour for associate/engineer, $55 per hour for CADD (Computer-Aided Drafting and Design) and $35 per hour for clerical services. login to post comments |
