Ruby Elouise Hendrick, 91, Newnan, died Feb. 10, 2008. She was born May 16, 1916 in Newnan, daughter of the late Joe and Primmer Wortham Yates. She was preceded in death by husbands Elige Bonner, whom she married March 29, 1936 and Lize Zach Hendricks, whom she married Nov. 21, 1940. She was a member of Elim Baptist Church, where she served as Clerk for many years. After being employed as a home health care provider for many years, she retired in 2004. She was an avid reader and enjoyed fishing as well. Services were at the Elim Baptist Church with interment at the church cemetery. Survivors include sons, Emmett and Patricia Bonner, Jessie and Josie Hendricks, William J. Hendricks, Joe L. Hendricks, Lize Z. Hendricks Jr., and Willie A. Hendricks of Chattanooga, Tenn.; daughters, Lillian Ogletree, Mary Kate Hendricks, Gussie M. Hendricks, and Barbara Hendricks; a brother, J. B. Yates; a sister, Dollie and Alvin Burroughs; four generations of grandchildren; and special friend, Bonnie King, Atlanta. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge. login to post comments |
