Floyd "F. A." Brown, 85, Fayetteville, died Feb. 15, 2008. He was born Oct. 15, 1922 in Fayette County, son of Marcus and Bessie Green Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dora Maddox Brown. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Jerry Cross officiating. Interment was at Hopewell Cemetery, Tyrone. Survivors include sons Gerald Brown, and Donald and Vickie Brown, all of Newnan; a sister, Ferrell Kimbrell, Union City; grandchildren, Brad Brown, Tiffany and Mark Staas; and great-grandchildren, Corey Staas, and Emma Staas. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
