Alice Harrington Dickinson died Feb. 14, 2008. She was preceded in death by husbands, Felton Harrington of 42 years, and Lawrence Dickinson, of 11 years. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Dr. David Chancey and the Rev. James Wellman officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo and Wayne Hooper, Marietta; a granddaughter, Stephanie Hooper, Woodstock; a niece, Ann and Don Walker, Columbus; a stepson, Thomas Dickinson, Atlanta; a stepdaughter, Laverne and Marshall Dingler, Fayetteville; and numerous step-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Christian City, 7345 Red Oak Rd., Union City, GA 30291. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
