Christine Jordan, vice president of the board of directors for Promise Place, accepts a gift from Peachtree City Parks and Recreation Department employee Joyce Williams in memory of Jane Miller. Department employees presented a donation to Promise Place in memory of longtime Peachtree City employee Miller who recently passed away.

Promise Place is a nonprofit organization that is a safe haven for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse. In addition to providing shelter, they also provide food, clothing, transportation, legal advocacy and serve as an educational resource to Fayette County school students through their Teen Dating Violence program.
