New series tickets on sale for Villages AmphitheaterWed, 02/13/2008 - 10:04am

New series tickets for the 2008 Villages Amphitheater Summer Concert Series are now on sale at Fayetteville’s Historic Train Depot and Welcome Center. Individual concert tickets will be available to the public beginning Feb. 25 at the Depot beginning at 8 a.m.. Tickets may be ordered over the phone by calling 770-719-4175. Visa, Mastercard and American Express are all acceptable forms of payment as well as cash or check if you choose to purchase in person. There is a $2 postage and handling fee that will be added for all phone orders. Reserved series tickets will cost $150 for all six concerts and lawn seating series tickets are $120. The reserved series price represents a savings of $60 per person as compared to purchasing tickets for the individual concerts. This year’s concert schedule includes: • Creedence Clearwater Revisited on May 3; • Little Anthony and The Imperials on June 14; • The Atlanta Rhythm Section on July 12; • Frankie Avalon on July 26; • Ricky Skaggs on August 16; and • Rita Coolidge on September 13. Additionally there will be a spotlight concert featuring The Swinign’ Medallions on May 31. Series ticket holders may purchase those tickets for the special reduced rate of $12 per person. All other tickets for this concert are $15 advance and $17 door. The Villages Amphitheater is an 1,800 seat venue outdoor entertainment venue owned by the Downtown Development Authority and operated by Main Street Tourism Association.
