Community / Teen Recreational Center Forum Wednesday

The Youth Council serving Fayette County is seeking input from the community regarding a push for a Community / Teen Recreational Center on the south side of PTC / Fayette County. The meeting is open to the public, and all ages are encouraged to attend. This building will serve all ages from 1 to 100.

The meeting will be at the PTC Library Floy Farr Room on Wed. 2/13 at 6:30pm. Some of the priorities for the this potential recreational facility include: Two side by side B-Ball courts, Small Fitness Center, Walking Track above Gym, Stage for Theater and Acting Classes, Supervised Computer Room / Homework Room, Senior Citizens Multi-Purpose Area, and Game Room.

The goal of the meeting is to help prioritize the types of facilities that this center should offer, where it should be, and what some of the obstacles will be.

Attendees will be broken into small groups to answer these questions.
