The McIntosh Chiefs led the Banneker Trojans at the end of the first and second quarter of their region tournament game on Tuesday, but Banneker seized a two point lead by the end of the third quarter and walked away with the win.

The Chiefs were under heavy defensive pressure from the Trojans all afternoon and steals and turnovers proved to be very costly.

“We just didn’t take care of business today,” McIntosh head coach Jason Eisele said after the game.

McIntosh was led in scoring by Jeremy Lampkin with 21 points and Robert Chubb with 13.
