Garnette M. Haislip, 85, Fayetteville, died Dec. 27, 2005. She was born March 15, 1920 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward S. Haislip, and sons, William E. Haislip and Robert D. Haislip. Graveside services were at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park, with Mike Head officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Janice and Dan Mazur, Fayetteville; a grandson, William Edward Haislip; granddaughters, Wendi Haislip, Lani Mazur, and Julie and Doug Dobbs; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Freda H. Walter-Poe, Dayton, Ohio. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
