Price your antiques and collectibles at PTC library

The Peachtree City Library now helps the experienced antiques dealer and the novice collector to identify, research and price art, antiques and collectibles. Thanks to “Price It! Antiques & Collectibles,” Peachtree City Library patrons have access to a database of over 25 million antiques & collectibles records from which to find and compare pricing of these items.

“There are various estimates in reputable journals of the population that collects something – whether it be for investment or simply for the pure joy of collecting,” said Jill Prouty, administrator at the Peachtree City Library. “’Price It! Antiques & Collectibles’ provides these collectors, through access of the Peachtree City Library, a one-stop, up-to-date source of appraisals based on actual sales from several reliable sources – eBay, professional antique dealers and antique auction houses. They will now have a reliable pricing appraisal of similar items and their actual selling value on which to base their own asking prices.”
