Hoyt "Jimmy" Jones, 88, Fayetteville, died Feb. 6, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Ruby Jones, his wife, Annette Jones, and brothers, Hugh Jones, Howard Jones, Ray Jones, and Julian Jones. He had served in the United States Army for five years and was a member of the Senior Golf Club Cedars and The Pines. Services will be Friday, Feb. 8 at 11 a.m. at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Ken Helms officiating. Interment will be at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include daughters, Gaile and William Ewing, Debbie and Mike Barron, and Vickie and Bill Elder, all of Fayetteville, and Susan and J. R. Burns, Eatonton; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Louise Jones, Ann Jones, and Audrey Jones; and special family friends, Bud and Cindy Cline and children. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
