Ruby Craft Gray

Ruby Craft Gray, 92, Fayetteville, formerly of Flat Lick, Ky., died Jan. 21, 2008. She was born Jan. 27, 1915 in Inman, Va., daughter of the late Clint and Cecilia Caudill Craft. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Tom Gray, who died Sept. 19, 2005. They had married Oct. 5, 1931 at Himyar. Also preceding her was sister, Margaret Fritz, and grandsons, Glendarrel and Jimmy Dale Callihan. She was a homemaker and a member of the National Heights Baptist Church in Fayetteville, and a former member of the Old Flat Lick Baptist Church. Services were at the Knox Funeral Home chapel, Barbourville, Ky., with the Rev. James Vandy officiating. Interment was at the Barbourville Cemetery. Survivors include children, Jacqueline and Richard Croteau, Lucille and Bill Semon, all of Fayetteville, Betty Lou and Bernie Wolf, Loveland, Ohio, Ann and Matt Renfro, Hollansburg, Ohio, David Clarence and Jennie Gray, Spring Hill, Fla., Robert Lee and Barbara Gray, South Lebanon, Ohio, and James Clinton and Michelle Gray, Flat Lick, Ky.; brothers, Willard Craft, Old Virginia, and Bobby and Joanne Kelley, Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Nila and Sinus Boggs, Louisville; 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the National Heights Baptist Church, 103 Old Norton Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Knox Funeral Home, Barbourville, Ky., was in charge.
