Members from Fayette Senior Services and the Atlanta Knitting Guild kicked off the month-long “Knit One Mail Too” event at the Fayetteville Post Office, to celebrate the release of the 2007 Holiday Knitting Stamp in December. Senders from all over the world sent their holiday cards through the Fayetteville Post Office throughout the month of December in order to have “Knit One Mail Too” message stamped on their envelopes. The “Knit One Mail Too” cancellation postmark was offered exclusively by the Fayetteville Post Office.
