Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie H. Bentley of Gwinnett announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Meredith Bentley, to Patrick Joseph Topp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Terrence P. Topp of Peachtree City.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Cloud of Rome and the late Mr. and Mrs. T.H. Robertson, also of Rome. She is a graduate of The University of West Georgia where she earned a bachelor of science degree in sociology with a concentration on gerontology. She also is an alumni for the Chi Omega Fraternity. She currently is employed by Anderson Insurance, in Lawrenceville and is working as an account executive.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Alexander Topp and the late Irene Topp of Peachtree City and Martha Moloney Ireland, of Peachtree City and the late Edward Moloney. He is a graduate of The University of West Georgia where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in global studies and minored in Spanish. He also is an alumni for the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He currently is employed by Sysco Foods.

The wedding will be Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Snellville United Methodist Church.

Following a honeymoon to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Douglasville.
