The Rev. Frank Ellis, pastor of Fayetteville First Baptist Church, will lead a Bible study on “Bible Basics” at the church beginning Wednesday, Jan. 11. Classes will meet each Wednesday.

The course is for those who want to get a handle on the “big picture” of the Bible. There is no required homework but suggestions and helps for deeper study will be offered. A Bible is the only material required.

The first sessions will focus on “Books of the Old Testament” (Jan. 11); “Books of the New Testament” (Jan. 18); “The Old Testament World” (Jan. 25); and “Old Testament People, Part 1” (Feb. 1).

Another adult Bible study begins the same day. “A Life Well-Lived,” a study which will examine coping with things in life that don’t seem ”fair,” will begin at 6:30 p.m. in room A101-102. Books emphasized will be Ecclesiastes and Solomon. This study will continue for 12 weeks.
