Kristen Diana Clark and Robert Benjamin Clapper were married Dec. 8, 2007, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, New Orleans, La. The Nuptial Mass was officiated by the Most Rev.Oscar H. Lipscomb, Archbishop of Mobile. Concelebrants were the Rev. Richard Hermes, S.J. and the Rev. Peter Bernardi, S.J. of New Orleans, the Rev. Steven Williams and the Rev. William Bry Shields of Mobile, and the Rev. Kevin Peek of Atlanta.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Clark of Peachtree City and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rose of Hampton, Va. and Mr. and Mrs. Morris Clark of Spotsylvania, Va.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Clapper of Mobile, Ala. and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Donaghey, also of Mobile, and Mrs. Betty Clapper and the late Robert E. Clapper of Prattville, Ala.

Kathryn Jenna Clark, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Bradley Clapper King, sister of the groom, Elizabeth Forest, Jennifer Murray, Amanda Wuerstlin, Katheryn Henry, Angelica Aldarondo, and Lucy Gossett.

Nicholas Sean Clapper, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were John King, brother-in-law of the groom, Timothy Nebel, Juan Calix, David Thies, David Duffy, Ryan Olivier, and Nick Thomas.

The reception was held at the New Orleans Fine Arts Center.

The couple honeymooned in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and now resides in New Orleans.
