Theodore "Ted" Andrew Walston Sr., Fayetteville, died Feb. 2, 2008. He was retired after 33 years of service as a supervisor for the United States Postal Service. He was a member of Harps Crossing Baptist Church. Services were at Harp's Crossing Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Watson and the Rev. Ken Helms officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife, Patricia Walston, Fayetteville; children, Rhonda and Guy Hill, Stockbridge, Drew and Lisa Walston, Alpharetta, and Jennifer and John Hall, Fayette County; grandchildren, Adam Walston, Mandy Johnson, Misty Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Mark Hall, Cody Hall, and Katie Hall; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Kylee Johnson, Kaden Tyndall, Tristin Busby, and Ansley Busby; and mother-in-law, Bertie McCullough, Jackson, Ga. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the American Diabetes Association. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
