Why is everything a package?

Now we have a "stimulus" package. I reckon for stopping the economy from going on down!
I don't know where it goes, but seems to come back after everything is re-distributed better!
Even jobs come in packages now. They don't hire you for a certain salary with just the possibility of a bonus if you do well, there is a whole "package!"
So much money if you have to leave, so much pay for a year or two for consulting,
(they never call), so much stock at a good price, you never have to just fly common like everyone else, If your insurance for health doesn't pay everything, they just cut you a check, they buy you a house of your choice until you sell yours---if you ever do, and many other things.
I just saw a TV "package" deal for the Internet hook-up! (it really doesn't come in a package--they just say that)
It was so complicated in the fine print, I needed a law office to advise me.
Autos now have package deals (they don't
really pack the car). You can get extended guarantees (limited)--special insurance to make payments if you falter, free gas for a year, a special trade-in, and you can buy or lease!
Presidents and Vice-Presidents now come in packages (they don't package the VP).
I can't vote for a separate VP, even though the Constitution says that I can!
I'm tired of packages. If I want one, I will ask for it.
