Landmark Christian School K4 students have been learning about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The students have studied his life and his dream of people living together in peace regardless of skin color. The children did an activity to visualize how God sees us both inside and out. The children were given brown eggs and white eggs to match their skin color. They compared the outside to see the differences. Then, one by one, the eggs were cracked and placed in a bowl. The kids were able to see that the insides were all the same. The activity signified to the children that we are all special on the outside but the same on the inside. The kids then enjoyed a yummy snack of scrambled eggs!" login to post comments |
