It is another indication that county lines matter little where environmental factors are concerned. South Fulton/Fayette Community Task Force and Tyrone residents and council representatives met with Buffington Road residents Thursday who say thousands of homes and families are being adversely affected by blasts from the Red Oak granite quarry. Task force members said they will use their experience addressing environmental issues to assist their extended south Fulton neighbors in developing the tools to protect their families and homes.
