The Youth Council Serving Fayette County is celebrating their new name with a concert for teens. The concert called “Rocktober Fest” is a celebration of local artist from the area. It will be held at the Glenloch Recreation Center (corner of Bridlepath and Stevens Entry) from 8-11pm. There is a $5 cover charge for the concert, food will be provided. The lineup includes “Mabus Commute”, “Ethanol”, “Totality”, and “Gravel Undertone.” The Youth Council is currently recruiting new members. Anyone that attends a Fayette County high school can join. The coucil currently needs representatives from McIntosh, Starr’s Mill and Fayette County High, and especially Sandy Creek and Whitewater High.
