Ruth L. Smith Milkowski, Peachtree City, died Jan. 25, 2008. She was preceded in death by husbands, Walter S. Smith and John J. Milkowski. She was a graduate of Bass High School and was a member of the Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church. Services were at the Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Miller and Chaplain Dan Akins officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include sons W. Michael Smith, and Jeffrey L. Smith, Peachtree City; daughter-in-law, Rosemary Smith, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Amy Ruth and Shawn Hardman, Karen Michelle Smith, and Stacie Ann Gay, all of Peachtree City; great-grandchildren, Brett Hardman, Cailey Hardman, and Peyton Gay, all of Peachtree City; and half-brother, Carlon Shockley, Snellville. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, the Alzheimers Association, or the Peachtree City First Presbyterian Church. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
