Mary Lou Holland, 73, Tyrone, died Jan. 24, 2008. She was born Feb. 7, 1934 in Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orby and Ruby New, and a brother, Vernon New. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. J. E. Jarrard officiating. Interment was at Sharon Memorial Gardens, Tyrone. Survivors include her sons, Kurtis and Angela Holland, Rutledge, Ga., and Danny Holland, Milledgeville; daughters, Cindy and Bill O'Neal, and Penny and Mike Hope, all of Tyrone, and Lisa Holland, Alpharetta; sisters, Wilma Ashcraft, Mableton, Joyce Turner, Woodstock, and Earnie New, Tyrone; grandchildren, Nick O'Neal, and Pamela O'Neal; and special friends, Walter Marx, Aaron Turner, and Shelley Morris. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
