Max H. Scaggs, Peachtree City, died Jan. 25, 2008. He was an avid golfer and a member of Flat Creek Country Club. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Dr. Randall Harris officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Suzanne Scaggs, Peachtree City; a daughter, Lynn and Tom Dolan, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Suzanne and Tommy Dolan, Peachtree City; brothers, Neal and Joanne Scaggs, Roger and Janice Scaggs, and Jerry and Lou Scaggs, all of Logan, W. Va.; a brother-in-law, Con Means, Logan, W Va.; a sister-in-law, Joanne Scaggs Jeffries, Logan, W. Va.; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Lucy and Tom Adkins, Stephen City, Va. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
