Creekside football (above) went 10-0 in the regular season and won the region title and Sandy Creek’s boys basketball team (below with coach Darrell Evans) played in the AAAA final four and came oh-so close to making the championship game. In addition to these feats, were state championships in cross country and track for Landmark Christian and strong performances in many other sports. 2005 was an exciting year for athletics and The Citizen looks forward to covering all of the local teams in 2006.
