Fayette voters hoping to avoid long lines on election day next Tuesday have a chance through Friday to vote early in the presidential preference primary at any one of three locations in Fayette County.

Polls will be open to all county residents from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the county's board of elections office in downtown Fayetteville; at the lower level of the Peachtree City Library; and now at the new library in Tyrone located on Commerce Drive next to the Roger Spencer Community Center.

Voters are reminded they will need to provide a photo identification or other accepted identification document before they will be allowed to cast a ballot.

There will be no early voting on Monday and polls on election day Feb. 29 will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
