16-18 year old baseball sign-ups

Registrations for 16, 17 and 18 year old Big League Baseball will be taken through March 7. Players in the following counties may register: Butts, Carroll, Clayton, Coweta, Fayette, south Fulton, Haralson, Heard, Henry, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup, and Upson.

All players who register will be placed on teams.

There will be a special 5-Tool Clinic on March 22 with instructors from The Dugout Club and Velocity Sports Performance.

Players registered by March 7 will receive a discount on their clinic registration. Registration forms for the clinic are available at www.eteamz.com/D4bigleague, click on “Big League Registration”.

Players must be 16 years old by April 30, 2008 and no older than 18 on April 30, 2008. Teams formed will be traveling teams playing in Fayette, Coweta and possibly other south metro counties. This is a 16-game schedule; April 20 through June 15. Games will be double-headers on Sundays and possibly some Saturday games at various locations. Players must provide their own transportation to/from practices and games.

Registrations will be accepted for individuals as well as teams. Individuals signing up will be placed on teams with other players from their local high school or geographical area.

An All Star team will be selected and will represent District 4 at the State Tournament in July.
