By: The Citizen
A new survey has been released from the Peachtree City Parks & Recreation Department and the Recreation Commission to gather information to update the 2007 – 2011 Peachtree City Recreation Master Plan. This survey can be accessed through the city website, www.peachtree-city.org , through www.ptcrecreation.org , or through the various sports organizations or class participation list. Hard copies will be available at recreation department facilities, City Hall, the Library, the Tennis Center, the Amphitheater office, the Welcome/Visitors Center as well as police and fire headquarters. The deadline for the return of the surveys is February 1st. Surveys can be submitted on-line. If a paper survey is preferred, return them to The Gathering Place, Recreation Administration Building, or Kedron Fieldhouse & Aquatic Center. Completed surveys can be faxed to 770-631-2541. If you have any questions or suggestions about the survey, please call 770-631-2542 during regular business hours, 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. The Parks & Recreation Department will utilize the results of this survey to assist with program planning. The results will be factored into our financial planning efforts from 2008 to 2013 to provide programming guidance. As a resident, your input is very important and will give you the opportunity to share your thoughts, desires, and ideas for the type of recreation environment you would like to see in Peachtree City’s future. login to post comments |
