As our time to vote is approaching rapidly, I am compelled to publicize my opinion, as this is going to be the most important vote that the majority of us will ever cast.

The irony of it all is that one of the most important issues to us all actually should be bringing all Americans citizens together — black, white, Asian, Hispanic, or any other “English-speaking” American.

If we don’t get this one right, we will lose this country to people who don’t have the legal right to be here, and we will also lose our jobs because we can’t communicate with them fluently.

There is only one candidate who has spoken out on this issue with a straight answer, and his name is Mitt Romney. Check the records, folks; every other candidate has danced around this one.

Yes, there are many problems America is facing, but if we elect a president who is willing to grant amnesty to 12 million-plus who have broken our laws, then we will all fall. I hope Fayette County will be able to unite when we get our turn at the polls.
