Three newcomers to the SouthSide Pioneers Track & Field Club represented the club at the 2007 National Cross Country Junior Olympics in Lawrence, Kansas. Here are the results:

• Intermediate Boys Jared Cooper (Our Lady of Mercy HS) placed 71st with a time of 17:52.43.

• Young Women: Angelea Patitucci-McCaugherty (Pike County HS) placed 69th with a time of 23:12.90.

• Young Men: Thomas Raville (Our Lady of Mercy HS), who ran valiantly despite a sudden bout with the flu, placed 109th with a time of 18:17.25.
