James Edward "Jim" Beauchamp, 68, Tyrone, died Dec. 25, 2007. He was born Aug. 21, 1939 in Vinita, Okla. He was a professional baseball player and coach. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Beulah Beauchamp, and brother, Eugene Beauchamp. Services were at Southwest Christian Church with the Rev. David Hammonds and the Rev. Dr. James "Jim" Donovan officiating.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Smith Beauchamp, Tyrone; sons, Kash Beauchamp, Wichita, Kan., and Tim Beauchamp, Grove, Okla.; daughters, Ann René and Richard DePietri, Phenix City, Ala., Shanna Beauchamp, Tyrone, and Lauren and Matt Lee, LaGrange; grandchildren, Kyle, Kaleigh, and Kobe Beauchamp, Rachel DePietri, and Brooke and Rebecca Lee; stepmother, Lee Jean Beauchamp, Jay, Okla.; a sister, Patti and Don Crockett, Grove, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Kay Beauchamp, Grove, Okla.; and mother-in-law, Juliette Smith, Phenix City, Ala.
