Flat Creek Baptist announces classes, activities for January

Flat Creek Baptist Church will launch its new session of Sunday night and Wednesday night classes and activities tonight with activities for children, youth and adults. Wednesday night events will begin Jan. 9 and Sunday night events will begin Jan. 13.

Wednesday night dinner begins at 5 p.m. followed by classes and activities. Prayer Meeting and Bible Study for youth through adults led by Pastor Jerry Cross will be held in the sanctuary at 6:30 p.m.

Activities for youth include Acteens, Challengers and High School Worship, and for children, choirs and mission groups.

Wednesday classes for adults consist of eight sessions each and include the following:

“I Saw the Lord: A Wake Up Call for Your Heart,” by Anne Graham Lotz will be led by Rhonda Jones in Room A-207.

A class on John 3:16 by Max Lucado will be led by David Rathbun in Room A-209.

“Gripped By The Greatness of God,” by James McDonald will be led by Mark Ward in Room A-200.

Sunday night activities begin Jan. 13 at 4:30 p.m. and also include activities for children, youth and adults.

Children have Bible Drill at 4:30 p.m. and Team Kid at 4:45. Youth have Middle School Worship at 4:45.

“The Quest For Authentic Manhood” by Robert Lewis continues in room A-201, led by Steve Sherrill. The class will begin at 4:30 p.m.

“Along The Virtuous Way,” by Gary and Ann Marie Ezzo also continues in room A-200 at 4:30 p.m. The class is led by Rick and Jan Davenport.

A Bible Prophecy Study led by Ricky Passmore of New Hope Baptist Church will be held at 4:45 p.m. in Room A-207. The class will include six sessions.

Sunday night services led by Pastor Jerry Cross of Flat Creek are held at 6 p.m. in the sanctuary.
