PTCUMC’s Divorce Care starts tonight
DivorceCare, a 13-week session for those going through divorce transition, will be offered at Peachtree City United Methodist Church beginning Wednesday, Jan. 9, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in room 306 in the Worship Center at 225 Robinson Rd., Peachtree City. Sessions include a video featuring top experts and discussions relating to life. Childcare is available with reservation: contact michelle.cole@ptcumc.org. Men’s Encounter meets Saturday
Men’s Encounter will meet this Saturday, Jan. 12, from 8-10 a.m. at the Hampton Inn in Fayetteville. This month’s meeting will be a special session since wives or girlfriends, as appropriate, are encouraged to attend. This month’s teaching will focus on relationships and communication and will include a question and answer period. Men’s Encounter is a greater Fayette area, non-denominational gathering led by Minister Jesse Asmond that meets monthly for fellowship and training to be godly men. Divorce Care starts Jan. 15 at Providence
A new 15-week DivorceCare class will begin Tuesday, Jan. 15 at Providence United Methodist Church in south Fayette County. Membership at Providence is not a requirement. There are no costs involved and free child-care is available. The class meets Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in Room F-13 at Providence UMC, 592 Bernard Road, Fayetteville. Women’s Bible study begins Jan. 15 at Grace
Grace Evangelical Church will offer “The Amazing Collection” Tuesday evenings and Wednesday Mornings beginning Jan. 15 and 16. This is a weekly video study and small group discussion for women that explores each book of the Bible over a three year period. The current study covers I Kings through Song of Solomon. Dogwood Church offers women ‘faith and fitness’
“Body & Soul,” a new ministry for women, combines workouts with faith and is available for all fitness levels, beginner to advanced. Classes begin Monday, Jan. 21, at 9:30 a.m. in the E-Zone building and will meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 10 weeks. Childcare is available by advance reservation and prepayment only.
