In honor and in memory of my special friend, Robert Burch.

When I say special, he was a special friend and always made me feel like I was a special friend to him.

I know I wasn’t. That is just a Burch trait that they bestow on everyone they meet, but it is so nice.

Robert was never too rushed to acknowledge you, to inquire about your family, and you knew he was truly interested.

We will certainly miss this gentle man, his smile, his kindness and his talent.

To Emily, Mary, Ambrose, Wilson, Jim and nephew Sam, you have our heartfelt sympathy.
