Chief - the War on Terror

At your suggestion, I read Kessler's book, "The Terrorist Watch". Kessler is obviously a believer in the Bush administration. (He reverently calls Bush the CEO of the War on Terror.) Most of what this administration has 'accomplished' is under investigation. History will be the judge of the Bush administration. 70% of the American public today does not agree with Kessler's assessment of this administration. Kessler reports what other authors have reported regarding the CIA and FBI. As the CEO of the War on Terror, Bush's record is questionable. The book is an interesting read. Americans need to get beyond partisan loyalty and politics - and elect leaders who are knowledgeable, honest, and respected. . . REGARDLESS OF THEIR PARTY AFFIILIATION.

A very misleading statement in Kessler's writings was that 'democrats' vilified Abraham Lincoln. (As if those democrats were represented in the current democrat party. The 'dixie-crats' of the south vilified Lincoln. Lyndon Johnson realized that the southern democrats were lost to the Democratic Party when he signed the Civil Rights act.

I'm sure that many, after reading this book, feel 'safe and secure'. Other authors have documented the success of the integration of efforts of the CIA and FBI. The men and women in these organizations and our military are working diligently daily to protect the American people.

Mr. Kessler's praise and credit to the leadership of George Bush is not very convincing. Time will tell.
