James D. "Jim" Care, 69, Peachtree City, died Dec. 17, 2007. He was born May 7, 1938 in Moundsville, W. Va. He was a veteran of Viet Nam having served in the United States Marines. He had been a pilot for Eastern Air Lines for 26 years and was retired from Delta Air Lines as flight dispatcher with 14 years of service. Recently, he had worked with Talbot State Bank in Peachtree City. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Bob Tyler officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Denise M. "Denny" Care, Peachtree City; children, Cathy Vivanco, Cumming, Maggie Bennett, Gainesville, Carolyn Taraboletti, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., and Danny Care, Smyrna; grandchildren, Alex, Abbey, Mac, Harper, Adrian, James, Joe, Anna, Oliver; and a sister, Susan Hollis, Cherokee Village, Ariz. Memorial contributions may be made to an account established at Talbot State Bank, 303 Dividend Drive, Peachtree City, GA 30269. Carl J.
