Betty C. Renick, 76, Peachtree City, died Dec. 19, 2007. She was born Aug. 29, 1931 in Benton County, Miss. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Scott Pickering officiating. Survivors include her husband of 57 years, John A. Renick; sons, Paul and Suzanne Renick, Jasper, Ga., and Keith and Svetlana Renick, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Elizabeth Renick, Catherine Renick, Marci and Roy Scharko, Hillary Mercer, and Lee Mercer; and great-grandchildren, Madhavi and Rhea Scharko. Memorial donations may be made to Recycle Kids at Hopewell United Methodist Church, P. O. Box 70, Tyrone, GA 30290. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
