Samuel Radford, 62, Fayetteville, died Dec. 10, 2007. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Moss. He was veteran of the United States Army and retired from the United States Postal Service as a maintenance supervisor. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Rodney P. Keyes officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Lydia Radford, Fayetteville; sons, Prentice Radford, Atlanta, Eric and Shawnda Radford, Orlando, Fla., and John Rawls, Jonesboro; daughters, Valorie and Melvin Brewer, Clarkson, and Lynn and Timothy Searcy Mitchell, Jonesboro; 13 grandchildren; and stepsister, Ruth Baker, Orlando, Fla. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
