Edwin M. Carlos Flury, 91, Fayetteville, formerly of McDonough, died Dec. 13, 2007. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia H. Flury, and a daughter, Barbara Ann Flury. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and was a fireman for 29 years with the City of Atlanta, retiring in 1969. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Thomas McElroy officiating. Interment was at Greenwood Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include sons Jerry C. and Lynda Flury, Tyrone, David and Gaye Flury, Hampton, and Steven and Teresa Flury, Cullowhee, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
