Due to the Christmas holiday, The Citizen will have earlier than normal deadlines for submissions from the public, including letters to the editor.

All such submissions should be made no later than this Friday at noon to have a chance at possible inclusion in the Wednesday, Dec. 26 edition.

The newspaper office will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 24 and 25, and will reopen Wednesday, Dec. 26 at 8:30 a.m.

Deadlines for the week leading up to New Year’s also will be earlier.
