9/10 mentality

I like Michelle Malkin's use of the state of mind: 9/10 mentality.

As if people suddenly abandoned and blew away everything they ever believed or thought about on 9/11!

It is even used as an excuse to do most anything that wouldn't even have been considered before 9/11.

We can even spread democracy everywhere, forcibly now---due to 9/11 mentality!

We can defer civil liberties, use the worst kind of torture, and answer for it by saying, 9/11!

We can spend a Trillion dollars on a "police action" and not put it on the books yet after five years by saying: "but 9/11, you know."

We can justify scores of thousands of civilian deaths and 4000 dead and 25,000 maimed, by spouting, 9/11 is the reason.
It is, but should it be?

We can even vote for a dud for President a second time due to 9/11!

This could go on and on, but you must get the point by now!
